At Juniper Avenue Medical Centre, we understand that navigating healthcare can be confusing, especially when it comes to appointments and fees. That’s why we made a clear understanding of our appointment system, fees structure and billing practices.
Your Guide to Appointments & Fees
Due to rising costs, we need to charge out of pocket fees for our consultation. This allows us to continue providing quality and comprehensive care across all elements of our practice. Your rebate is fixed by the Federal Government and has not increased in relation to business costs. If the Government increased your rebate, your out-of-pocket fee would be lower.
Fees are payable at the time of consultation by Credit Card or EFTPOS. The Medicare rebate can be claimed and paid directly into your bank account for you within 24-48 hours.Â
Bulk Billing
We are committed to providing bulk billing services to eligible patients. This means that the Medicare rebate covers the entire cost of the consultation, so you don’t pay anything out-of-pocket. Full Bulk Billing Services are available for the following groups:
- - Veterans Affairs
- - Pensioners>65
- - Childhood and adult immunisations
- - GP Care Plans
- - Mental Health Care Plans
A $30 fee will be charged if you either do not turn up for your appointment or if you cancel with less then three hours notice.
